Grant Prior
Head Mechanic
Grant has over 30 years of experience in the industry.
He worked for Lynas Valley Ford (5.5 years), Barossa Nissan (8.5 years), Barossa Mitsubishi (2 years), and now for his own business since 2003.
He is a qualified LPG technician which enables him to fit and service most LPG vehicles. He has also completed several Diesel courses, giving all capabilities to service and maintain diesel and four wheel drive vehicles to a high standard.
Grant is very particular with the work he does, he always strives to do the very best he can. He is a great leader of the mechanical team at Prior's Automotive.
Nathan Colmer
Mechanic
Nathan has over 30 years of experience in the industry.
Nathan being a third generation mechanic started his career right after school over 30 years ago. He worked in a few of the Barossa Valley Dealerships until starting with Prior's Automotive in 2020.
He is a qualified technician which enables him to service and maintain all types of vehicles, boats and a Go-Cart or two. You don't want to take Nathan on in a Go-Cart as he driven, maintained and built Go-Carts since he was a young lad.
Nathan is very particular with his work. He always strives to do the best he can with job at hand. He is a great mechanical team member at Prior's Automotive.
Jane Prior
Office Manager
You will find Jane at the front reception desk to welcome you to Prior's Automotive.
Jane studied management once leaving school. She has worked in several business within the area in a management role until starting Prior's Automotive with her husband Grant in 2003.
Jane is not only the Office Manager but she is also our stock controller, Accounts receivable and accounts payable clerk.
Jane is always on the ball with what is going on within Prior's Automotive.
Leanne Thomas
Receptionist
You will find Leanne at the front reception desk to welcome you to Prior's Automotive two days a week.
Leanne is from a Farming background with her husband having a sheep stud north of Kapunda. Leanne went to business school after high school and since then she has worked in an office in the area until coming to work for Prior's Automotive in 2016.
You will find Leanne always happy to help you book your car in for a service or help you find a part you need for your car.
Ridley Sullivan
Trade Assistant
Ridley joined Prior's Automotive in 2020 to assist the boys out the back with keeping the workshop in tip top shape. He is also willing to help out with any servicing requirements the boys need help with.
Ridley is a hard worker that is always coming up with a few funny stories of Uncle Nathan and the fun they have racing Go-Carts.
Rocco and Marli
Welcoming Committee
Rocco aka 'The Boss' is a black and tan Kelpie who has been with Prior's Automotive since 2012. He will always come to welcome you if he's not chasing an air hose or water hose out the back with the boys.
Marli aka 'The Apprentice' is a red and tan Kelpie and she joined the Prior's Automotive family in 2020. She is very full of life and loves to wrestle The Boss, so she is not always at the workshop. When she comes for a visit she definately leaves a mark.
